About Us
Hi and welcome to the web site and blog of the Kapiti Coast Photographic Society Inc. (KCPS).
Our club provides activities and programmes suitable for both new and budding photographers and to challenge our more experienced exponents.
KCPS provides an interactive and socially rewarding environment built around the pursuit of knowledge and experience in photography. It doesn’t matter here if you are interested in pinhole photography, large format, film, digital formats or you just like viewing good photographs – we probably have someone in our club who knows something about it and would be interested in learning more with you.
Meetings
Club meetings are twice a month from February to November. We meet on the second and fourth Mondays at 7:15 pm in the Otaihanga Boating Club rooms, at 19 Makora Road, Otaihanga.
Development Sessions are held on the first Monday of every month from March to November, usually in the same venue. These are aimed at all levels, from novices to experienced photographers, to help with learning and improving basic skills, and advanced, covering topics such as post-processing.
For full details of the upcoming programme, just check out the Events calendar, or click on “Events” in the top menu.
You are invited to have a look through our website, check out our upcoming Events and if interested in joining us, come along to one of our meetings, or contact us.
