Hi everyone – the programme for 2013 is about to get underway. You can check out the calendar for the year here or by going to the EVENTS menu item at the top of the KCPS web site.

Our first meeting for the year will be at 7:30 pm on Monday 11 February at the usual venue, the Otaihanga Boating Club. The featured speaker will be our vice President, Alison Viskovic APSNZ, who will give a presentation entitled “A Photographic Autobiography”.

Alison did very well in the recent Dunedin Festival of Photography, receiving honours for her image shown here – “Illusion No 5”. It will be good to see more of her work.

We’ll also be seeking people to help out with the PSNZ National Exhibition of Photography (NATEX) which KCPS is running this year.  Don’t forget to get your own entries in (that’s fine) – see details at kcps.org.nz/natex2013.

Finally, the PSNZ National Convention this year is as close as it can get – down in Wellington. There’s lots of information at http://positivelyphotography.org.nz – check it out and consider registering for what is always a fantastic experience.
