On Monday 25th April three people presented Member Exhibitions, each with a very different range of images and an interesting account of how their photographic interests have developed.

We did not get photos of them on the evening, but here is an image from each of them:

There was no need for the projector on Monday night as we were about to enjoy some of the wonderful prints from three of our long standing members.

We were very impressed with Rex’s prints taken around the Port of Wellington along with some of his street photography.

Bernie showed us a wide range of portrait shots and landscapes of his travels around the world with his wife including Tibet and Afghanistan.

Roger explained to the group how he enjoyed bringing images to life by way of using calendars, Christmas cards and books as gifts. Also giving us an insight to what he actually has mounted in his own home with a variety of prints on canvas and also mounts on acrylic sheets.

Development Night 7th March

Focusing on use of camera controls – bring your camera, and be prepared to try things afterwards out in a small project we’ll set you!

For the development group on 7th March. Carol has compiled some pages on camera settings and will show photos that use different settings and their effect on the photo. Then people attending can then form groups to help each other set their camera up to replicate the same kind of photos.

Remember to bring your camera and manual along.
